It is perfectly fine to be demanding as a customer, ultimately customers are the lifeline of all businesses. But in the process of being demanding, it is important to understand that most service staffs are doing their utmost best to satisfy us as the customer. Treat the staffs with respect and do not be a bully or a threat. At times, it is crucial to adjust expectations, respect the rules bounded by the staff, and allow the supplier the opportunity to solve the problem.
Post buying experience, it is important to gratefully thank the staff for their service. Culturally, most people do not practice tipping, even if the service far exceeds expectations. However, it does make absolute sense to leave a feedback comment or some claps for the staff. In the instance, if the staff did well, some encouraging non-monetary comments would help to brighten the day for the staff, and if the service experience was not up to expectation, some kind comments for improvement might help to realign expectations on both ends.
Collaboration and teamwork are the successful traits of a productive organization. But amid teamwork, many employees do not give credit to those colleagues who have helped. Most managers and the management team are guilty of not giving enough credits to the employees, and not to mention tracking and recognizing individual accomplishments. A global study revealed that 79% of employees left their job due to a lack of appreciation for their work and contribution. Urgently, it is a soul-searching task to ask these managers, directors, and executives to give credit when its due.
Give due credit to the employee that has rendered the assistance. This is not just about some simple words of “thank you” or an email to the employee and copying the employee’s manager. The organization should have some form of credit tacking mechanism where all employees’ credits or merits are recorded and tracked. These credits should not just be known to the employee’s reporting manager but also to other managers, directors, and senior management team. Organizations that deploy proper credit tracking system will significantly increase employee appreciation and minimize employee turnover rate.
It is important to count our blessings and be contented with what we have. Far more people do not have what we have. The ability to give a part of what we have to those in need is important as social progress because there are a lot of people who get left behind for whatever physical or financial reasons. Caring for the unfortunate people is a part of societal gratitude for any nation to progress towards the gracious society.
The total donations given to the needy has increased gradually over the years, but the number of donors has decreased for whatever personal reasons that might be. Just as we progress, it is important to care for those who get left behind. For those who can afford, it is important to give within our financial means to help those in need.

In a scientific research study, expressing gratitude physically or digitally increases the likelihood that the beneficiary will return the gratitude when the opportunity arises. Although most people help someone without the need or request for the favor to be returned, it is always good to be on the receiving end when the real need arises.
